Zurich Airport Terminals
Zurich International Airport consists of two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, located in the same facility. It also has the Airside Center on the main center.
AIRSIDE Center
A central airside building that links all terminals called Airside Center. There passengers can find lots of concessions, restaurants, lounges, shops, duty free, among others.
It is a shopping mall that has several levels.
Terminal 1
Flights from mostly within Schengen area and domestic flights.
Terminal 2
Flights from mostly outside and within Schengen area.
Security check
Departing passengers access to the same security control point first and then it is divided into Schengen and Non-Schengen destinations on their way to the boarding gates, having to pass emigration controls when required.
TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS
The Airside and Terminal E are connected through Skymetro, an automated underground people mover.
